In 1967 I received a guide license from the State of Alaska and hold Master Guide License #A046. I have run my own guide and outfitting business since 1969. One of the areas we hunt is the Chandalar River drainage of the Brooks Range, from which I took the name for my company. I have had the privilege of traveling to many parts of the world and have seen things from the traveler's perspective. Since I have spent most of my adult life in Alaska, living in Eskimo and Indian villages and earning a living from the recreational use of Alaska's natural resources, I feel I am well qualified to work with visitors to Alaska. Chandalar River Outfitters is located in the central region of Alaska. We offer guided big game trophy hunts for Bear, Caribou, Sheep, Moose, Wolf and Wolverine. We also offer gamebird hunts for Grouse. My wife and I own and operate the Alaska Heritage Inn Bed & Breakfast and Youth Hostel in Fairbanks. Other accomodations include Cabins, Spike Camps and Camping.
