Parker Ranch, on the Big Island of Hawaii, is one of the largest ranches in the United States and home of Hawaii's cowboy - paniolo.Year round hunting is available for big game species. These include Polynesian boar (pictured below with Patrick C. Fisher), Spanish goat, Vancouver bulls and Axis deer. Our upland game bird hunting is second to none with a season extending from October through February. Pointing dogs are used to pursue our 12 species of game birds. Kalij, blue and ring-neck pheasant, Erkels, black and gray francolin, Chukar partridge, Valley and Japanese quail, Rio Grande turkey, Sand grouse and Lace neck doves. Our Spring Turkey Hunt runs from March 1st through April 15th. We have several types of accomdations including spike camps, lodge, and tents. In December 2003 we will offer Bass fishing.
